12/13 – Gingerbread House Party!
The Underwood PTO presents a Gingerbread House Making Party (virtual style)! All families are invited to roll up their sleeves and bring on their creativity to decorate their very own gingerbread house. A Zoom party will commence from 4-5pm on Sunday afternoon, 12/13. This will be a wonderful time to catch up with your pals and/or to see how everyone else is decorating their masterpiece. We will be awarding (super cool) prizes for the funniest, most colorful, and most school spirited entries!

Who: Underwood students (hybrid and DLA) of all grades!
What: Gingerbread House Making Showdown
When: Sunday, December 13, 4-5pm

Families can provide their own Gingerbread House materials, store bought or homemade (suggested recipe here) including all of the gumdrops and chocolates you can handle!
We’re also offering a Festive Owl bundle including a Deluxe Gingerbread House making kit + Underwood Owl kid-size apron for $20 each.
Prep tip, before the Zoom call: It will be handy to pre-build and connect the walls and roof of your gingerbread house, so the kids can have ample time decorating. Because we all know that waiting for the “icing glue” to dry ain’t fun!
Contest Submission Deadline: Final submissions due via photos emailed to the Underwood PTO by 6pm 12/13. Winners will be announced Tuesday, 12/15.
